Attitudes of Patients Attending Omdurman Teaching Hospital VCT Center, Sudan toward HIV/AIDS Voluntary Counseling and Testing Services

Background: Despite the availability of HIV/AIDS voluntary counselling and testing services in Omdurman Teaching Hospital, level uptake remains low, prevalence Sudan is still high. This situation suggests that there may be some underlying factors, such as patients’ attitudes toward provided, are affecting their willingness to access them. Therefore, this study aimed assess attitude patients attending Sudan.
 Methods: A descriptive hospital-based was conducted at Sudan. All HIV/AIDs counseling center were invited participate study, 200 invited, 150 participated with a response rate 75%. Data collected using structured interview questionnaire then analyzed by SPSS (version 23).
 Results: The findings revealed many (92%) have positive HIV believed shared information informative influential. It also observed 80% who received had lower levels social psychological stress stigma.
 Conclusion: highlighted utilize which reduces stresses stigma among patients. Females Muslim attitude.
